Our School
Operated by a non-profit society since 1998, Montessori Borealis
provides a positive and safe environment where preschoolers aged three
through six can actively engage in their own learning using proven
methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori more than a century ago.
Montessori Borealis offers half-day and full-day programs during the school year at a location conveniently located in downtown Whitehorse. |
Our Mission
To provide a learning environment which is wholly nurturing and respectful to the child, one in which children are valued individually and are free to learn independently at their own pace. Our program invites children to develop a love of learning for a lifetime. Our goal is to create opportunities that encourage learning on many different levels, with the help of hundreds of specially designed hands-on lessons that engage the children.
